Menu for the week This week's menu (starting Tuesday 8th August) is
Tuesday & Wednesday Carolyn will be making a chicken and cider stew with delicious apple and potato mash ($8.80)
Wednesday & Thursday beef bourgignon served with rice to warm you up ($8.60)
Thursday & Friday we have sausages with leek mash and a terrific pan-cooked chutney ($8.80)
Our "lucky number 13" loyalty system had a first "winner" last week!!! And there are many more customers that are getting there...
Thanks to all the customers for their good feedback on our meals (at the deli and other places). We are enjoying coming up with a menu and trying new things.
New Products Our Herbies range keeps expanding thanks to your requests, and yes we do have juniper berries and the rozelle balmain spice mix as well a beetroot powder (one customer swears by it as a "colourful and tasty substitute for salt on popcorn"). Do tell us if you want something for your pantry but can't be bothered going to Rozelle. We are here for you and don't mind rearranging our painstakingly achieved alphabetically list - really.
Our fresh frozen garlic bread is slowly byt definitely being discovered over these cold nights and comes highly recommended by one customer, self-appointed garlic bread connoisseur Fiona.
And starting next week- staff profiles! Everything you ever wanted to know about us but were too polite to ask. Maybe we can also do customer profiles - tell us what you think about that, hug?
