Welcome

It has been a while since we first thought of starting up our own newsletter but organising it and making it look so professional was a bit daunting for us: let's just say that we are a little I.T. challenged. Thankfully for us we have our own "I.T." angel in the form of our very good friend and hero Meredith. She kindly offered to help set up this uberfantastic newsletter - (we can afford to be modest because Meredith ended up doing all the work, whilst trying to explain to a very baffled Ana how to do it again).
But finally we are able to welcome you with open arms to hopefully weekly newsletter.

Menu for the week

Next week's menu (starting Tuesday 18th) will be...

Tuesday & Wednesday Carolyn will be making her beautiful Jambalaya $8.60

Wednesday & Thursday will be Spanish style carrot and onion chicken stew $8.60

Thursday & Friday will be making delicious Shepherd's Pie $9.00 to warm you on a friday night at home.

To thank those customers that keep on coming back for our weekly meals, we have started a little loyalty system,(thanks to Carole Peers) whereby every 13th meal is on us. Please ask us to fill out a card in your name next time you order your meals.

New Products

This space aims to bring to your attention any new products like our terrifically delish homemade granola with rolled oats, almonds, coconut, maple syrup, yellow box honey, sesame seeds, sunflower kernels at $14.20 per kilo

And we are proud to be stockists of the Bellata Gold range of pastas which are made from 100% durum wheat farmed right here in Australia, in a region in the northwest of NSW, where ideal soil and climate conditions yield world renouned durum quality.

We are also trying to start a "bags on loan" system. The idea is to cut down on all the plastic bags we provide. Our own Alimento Deli bags will be at your disposal. On your next trip to the deli (or the one after that if your memory is a bit like ours) you could return the bag. We also welcome "additions" to our pool, in the form of used plastic bags (so long as they haven't been used for dirty socks) or even other "green bags". Let's hope we can make this work!

That's all folks for now and we hope you tune in next week.
